In the past few years I’ve been lucky enough to hit up New York City three magical times (its a REALLY long trip from Australia!). My last two holidays have also involved visiting some beautiful fam bam, who live with their gorgeous 8 children on a farm in Connecticut!

Each time I’ve been over to the US, I’ve enjoyed keeping a (very messy) travel journal – to try and keep track of all of our activities. Recently these have come in handy, when my boyfriend’s sister and one of my old school friends wanted a list of places to go on their upcoming NYC holidays. Which got me thinking, why not share my travel journal and some of my favourite spots here!

I’m going to split this post up – so it’s not too epic in length. So first – my favourite part….my travel journal.

I was PRETTY excited, and VERY impatient leading up to this holiday in June this year. So I started my travel journal and research pretty *early* you could say. So much so, not only did I write an epic packing list, I actually ended up illustrating it…..
