I’ve decided to jump back to one of my favourite drawing activities…collaging!! In uni I used to love making fun, crazy designs through a mix of collage and illustration (and fashion!!!).
I find its great for getting out of my ‘routine’ drawing, and helps me come up with more unique fashion shapes and illustrations in my journal work. Plus I get to sit and flip through old magazines and stick down gorgeous patterns. Mega win!
These two guys have been made with a combo of:
magazine tear-outs
pen
metallic pens
glue stick
watercolour paper
crystals (on my “Miss Carmen Miranda” flower girl!)
and a bit of patience to get all the elements to work together
