Girls in Ink: Sketchbook Doodling

The plight of trying to draw each and everyday has been a focus for November. And I’m pretty sure it’s starting to pay off!

This spread has been done almost entirely with my new 0.05 Copic liner. It’s beautifully light to use, but has an amazingly strong pigment for a fine liner that helps to build up depth with a lot of detail.

Bringing back old habits of writing notes alongside sketchbook work has also been beneficial. There’s something fantastic about having to consciously reflect on a work (even just a quick little nothing sketch!) to help improve the quality of your work. And also help assess what directions you’re interesting to developing further.

Let me know what you think in the comments below! And tell me what habits you put in place for maintaining your creative pursuits?
