Christmas Week Sketches

Between never ending Christmas parties, work, starting a new job and flying interstate (tough life I know) – I find it soo worthwhile to take the time to sit down, draw and just relax over the Christmas period.

Here’s some images of a recent spread in my moleskin journal – finished of course while sitting on a plane on Christmas eve (just for something different!).

“I’m out of this world come with me to my planet”
The image on the left page used a combination of black Copic ink markers (0.05, 0.1, 0.25) and pencil.
The quote is a lyric from Nelly Furtado’s  – Promiscuous ft. Timbaland. (Indulge your inner 2000s, crop top wearing high schooler and have a sneaky listen here).

“I’ve been searching for whoever made me feel this way”
The image on the right was just a scribbly doodle of some favourite lyrics from The Rubens – Lay It Down

Let me know what you think in the comments below, and happy holidays!
