This little work was a card made for a friend, for a friend!

And it was most certainly an excellent excuse to drown some paper in my delightful pearlescent ink acquisition. Its a simple permanent ink that I’ve been mixing in with standard hard watercolours. Personally I find the result to be a dreamy, shimmering delight without being to “sparkly” or tacky. On the top of the letting I also threw in some gold acrylic paint (as per usual…!).
